Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences — such as login state, language and display settings — over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them on every visit.

We also use similar technologies including local storage, session storage and pixels. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these collectively. Cookies set by DuaFx are “first-party” cookies; cookies set by our service providers are “third-party” cookies.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website and client portal to function: they maintain your authenticated session, secure forms against cross-site request forgery, remember your cookie consent choices, and support load balancing across our infrastructure.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off through our consent banner because the services you request cannot be provided without them. They do not store personal data beyond what is needed for these functions and are deleted or expire according to their purpose, typically at the end of your session or within twelve months.

3. Functional cookies

Functional cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience: preferred language, chart layouts and watchlists on the web platform, dismissed announcements and display density. Without them the site still works, but preferences reset between visits.

These cookies are set only with your consent, given through the cookie banner on your first visit and changeable at any time as described in section 6.

4. Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long visits last, where journeys are abandoned and how visitors arrive at duafx.com. We use this aggregated information to improve navigation, content and performance.

Analytics data is collected in a pseudonymised form, with IP addresses truncated or anonymised where the tooling supports it. These cookies are set only with your consent, and refusing them does not affect any site functionality.

5. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and may be used by our advertising partners to show you more relevant messages on other websites. They can track your browser across sites to build a profile of interests.

We only set marketing cookies with your explicit consent. If you decline, you will still see advertising elsewhere, but it will not be personalised based on your visits to duafx.com.

6. Managing your preferences

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer, which re-opens the consent banner. Changes take effect immediately for future page loads.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings: every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, either globally or site by site. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the client portal from functioning correctly.

Where our pages embed third-party content, the providers of that content may set their own cookies subject to their own policies; the consent banner lists these providers where they are used.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies we use change or when applicable regulations require it. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be signalled by re-presenting the consent banner on your next visit.

Questions about this policy or our use of cookies can be sent to support@duafx.com.
